Kim Kardashian Storming The Votes For Time Magazine’s Most Influential List. WTF?!

Well this is a turn up for the books.

Kim Kardashian is amongst the nominees for Time Magazine’s Most Influential People list – and is currently storming the votes.

The 33-year-old reality star is joined by the likes of Meryl Streep, Matthew McConaughey and Anna Kendirck in the TV and Movies catergory – alongside her husband-to-be Kanye West.

And we doubt Kanye West will be particularly happy to know that Kim is currently ahead of his total votes by a third.

Ouch.

The official TIME 100 will be decided by the editors of the magazine, but with the surge in popularity on the public vote it wouldn’t be too suprising if Kim sneaks her way in.

The reality TV star’s army of fans have been helping out with pushing up the tally of tmuch needed votes – tweeting the link for support.

Kim’s notoriety in the press has surged over the past year thanks to the birth of daughter North, her upcoming nuptials to Kanye, and her prestigious (if controversial) appearance on the cover of Vogue.

One person who has no doubt that Kim is an influential figure is fiancé Kanye who claimed last year that she had more authority than first lady Michelle Obama.

He said: “No one is looking at what [Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.

“There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue.

“She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday.”
