New York Times’ T Magazine highlights Philly coffee scene

Well this is a new one. Recognition for Philadelphia as a beer and sandwich city comes as no surprise, but some of our other treats are getting nods, too.
New York Times' T Magazine recently did a little coffee shop crawl around these parts and had some good things to say.
A handful of coffee destinations were featured in the profile, including La Colombe, Elixr Coffee and Spruce Street Espresso. The piece also highlights Bodhi Coffee, One Shot Coffee, Shot Tower Coffee and Ultimo Coffee.
There was also a mention of the Thursday Night Throwdown monthly cappuccino-off, uwishunu reports, which pits 32 of the city's best baristas against each other. Uwishunu also points out that the local coffee scene even meets with food critic Craig LaBan's approval, as demonstrated in detail in a recent article.
So now you can start and end your day with highly touted drinks. And have a sandwich in between.
