Google changes “I’m Feeling Lucky” button to let you feel other things, too
Google's pretty amazing for finding specific things you're looking for online, but from the outset the search engine has featured a button labeled "I'm Feeling Lucky" in case you just wanted to be sucked down the rabbit hole of browsing random search results from around the web. Now the company has made a clever little change to this feature designed to show off some of Google's most interesting projects.
When you hover your mouse pointer over the I'm Feeling Lucky button on the main Google search page, it now changes at random to "I'm Feeling Stellar," "I'm Feeling Trendy," "I'm Feeling Hungry," and a few other "I'm Feeling..." permutations. Here's what they all do:
I'm Feeling Stellar takes you to the Google Earth Hubble telescope image gallery.
I'm Feeling Puzzled takes you to the Google A Day search-based puzzle.
I'm Feeling Trendy takes you to the Hot Searches page.
I'm Feeling Artistic takes you to the Google Art Project site.
I'm Feeling Hungry takes you to a page of search results for "restaurants."
I'm Feeling Playful takes you to a gallery of interactive Google Doodles.
I'm Feeling Doodley takes you to a full gallery of Google Doodles.
I'm Feeling Wonderful takes you to the Google World Wonders project.
