Get the iPhone 5 early on eBay… if you have $1,600

Those who were lucky enough to pre-order the iPhone 5 will have Apple's newest phone in their hot little hands in just a few days. But if you did not snag one of the 2 million phones that were purchased in that first day before stock sold out, you'll either have to endure endless lines at an Apple store in the wee hours of Friday morning or wait a whole extra month to get your new gadget. But if you have a whole lot of cash sitting around, you could try your luck in a bidding war on eBay and get your mitts on the iPhone 5 even sooner.

Right now, you can find the 64GB model of the iPhone 5 for up to $1,625, almost double the retail price set by Apple. The 16GB and 32GB models are also up for sale for between $800 and $1,000. But remember, just because the iPhone 5 is new and shiny doesn't mean that it'll be worth buying for everybody.
