New Retro Brick Bluetooth Handset is bringing the 80s back

Do you long for the days of chatting with your friends on a chunky handset of a phone? Yearn no longer; product developer Shisa Labs let us know that they have designed an 80's-inspired Retro Brick Bluetooth Handset.

The classic mobile brick phone has been reimagined to work with any bluetooth-enabled phone or smartphone. And in true 80's fashion, it will be available in four very bright neon colors. Shisa Labs said it will make the handset available for pre-order with a Kickstarter project on Friday, July 13. This most excellent piece of nostalgia will cost $85.

Kickstarter has housed many successful creative ventures, from smartwatches to Lego artwork to a new gaming console. In fact, the crowdsourcing site is projected to funnel more money into arts projects in 2012 than the National Endowment for the Arts.
