Sesame Street may be a classic kids show that generations of kids have enjoyed, but it's about to take a high tech turn that your children would love. In the video above, you can see a demonstration of a Sesame Street augmented reality playset that brings two of the program's characters, Bert and Ernie, to life on the screen of an iPad.
But it's not just the puppet duo that the playset's accompanying augmented reality app can animate on the screen of a phone or a tablet. The housemates come with several props including a jukebox that transforms their humble house into a disco and a teensy TV that actually plays video! Sadly, the playset doesn't have even solid release info yet, but its makers say they're working quickly to commercialize it.
