Small regional wireless carrier C-Spire gets the new iPhone 4S

One of Apple's most popular advertising slogans over the years is "Think Different," and it appears that's just what the company is doing in regards to distribution of its new iPhone 4S. A small regional carrier named C-Spire revealed that it will also be getting the iconic new smartphone, just like big dogs AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint.

C-Spire is based out of Mississippi and services a rather small swath of the country when compared to the rest of the iPhone-equipped carriers. This is the first time that a non-national wireless provider has gotten official access to Apple's cherished smartphone line, and it may signal a change in the company's thinking.

While the 4 big players of the wireless world — AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint — service the majority of the country, dozens of smaller carriers are still fighting for their piece of the pie. Many regional service providers only service a few states, but their customers are just as eager to get their hands on the latest technology as everyone else. Apple hasn't officially announced a rollout to any wireless companies aside from their top 3, but you may just see your local carrier adding the shiny new 4S to its lineup before too long.
