War has never looked cuter than in this Lego Call of Duty spoof

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is one of the best-selling video games of all time. It broke launch-day sales records without even batting an eyelash, and will undoubtedly be found under millions of trees across the country this holiday. So how could you make an already fantastic video game even better? By adding Lego, of course!

The video is the latest in a line of Lego spoofs that has been a big hit on YouTube and other video sites, and it shows just how adorable war can be. Its directors at Kooberz Studios took every frame of the much-hyped Modern Warfare 3 launch trailer and gave it a Lego twist. They kept the soundtrack in tact to add to the epic action that is now presented entirely in plastic.

Check out the Lego version above and compare it to the original, somewhat less-cuddly version below and let us know what you think in the comments!

war games are awesome, if you don't think so you are entitled to your opinion, that is what makes America so freaking awesome, also don't forget you have choice to not watch this or participate in any activity you don't like, just quit trying to be nazi-esgue and shape the world to your own liking & I promise to do the same

Oh yes, war is absolutely adorable ¬¬ Try telling that to a veteran.
I'll admit the spoof is impressive though. Machinima manages to put out some decent stuff now and then.

you people complain about the children being brainwashed by video games and legos, but I guess you dont know what happens in third world countries, where parents teach their children to hate Americans and they arm them with AK-47...go to Iraq and Afghanistan if you think im lying. Its real "cute" when we are being shot at by a 12yr old or being blown up by a 15yr old suicide bomber!! You people have no clue what war is like these days! Its better that our youth at least gets a look at what could happen!!

Maybe I imagined it but I'm pretty sure that in some Lego sets (think the Castle ones that have Dragons and the like) there are actual pieces that look like flames/fire...that would have added enormously to the video I think...

The correct spelling is intact, not in tact. If you are going to rely on a word processing software to be your proofreader you had best learn English first.

@Brian: Thanks, man. I am continually amazed at how many "writers" don't know the first thing about English grammar. They consider spell checking to *be* proofing. The tragedy of the Internet, computers, texting, and Twitter is the demise of any rules to spelling and grammar. One day, the Earth will be like "Blade Runner" in which the patois is a polyglot of languages and slang. That will not be progress.

Not very impressed. LEGO used to be about imagination. Now, all the parts look like the real thing. Anyone could have made this. Just buy the LEGO set and use your phone camera.

Ahhh, Lego. The toy of choice for kids without personalities.

Ahhh, another ultra-violent war game to de-sensitize and prep our youth for the military meat-grinder of the future, where they will be killed, maimed and disfigured in yet another pointless war started by politicians and weapons manufacturers with the blessing of the oil and mining industries. I believe these games are actually created by our government to accomplish their recruitment needs. Wonderful, isn't it?

Its a video game, lighten up man....you take life too seriously!! you probably never leave your house because you are scared that a terrorist might kidnap you or something...

Video games and gadgets are fun, but I think too many people are hooked on them. Read a book. Go outside. Be physical and interact with people in the world. Wake up Neo. Take the red pill.

That was pretty cool, must have taken quite some time.

Now we can teach our five and six year olds to kill with the best of them. Disgusting.

Anyone who thinks war is "fun" or "cute" should be drafted and sent to the front lines.
      • Nate 5 mths ago
Guess people should of thought about that before they started making video games and toys based on war then huh? Im sure you never had a single G.I.Joe or plastic green Army man when you were a kid either. This is creative and took some time to complete. Lets celebrate that instead.

Good to see that LEGO is encouraging children to view the military as something more favorable. As the years unfold we'll need more military abroad, and here at home. Get used to it, people. Military is here to stay.

Anybody who thinks war is fun is retarded. If you are a pathetic loser give me a thumbs down. You'll be proving me correct.
