  • Usher comments on Clinton concert wardrobe malfunction

During his three-song set for Saturday's "A Decade of Difference" concert for the William J. Clinton Foundation, Usher didn't let a wardrobe malfunction get the best of him. He acknowledged the long rip in the left leg of his pants during his performance of his hit "OMG" and continued with his routine.

On Sunday night, he made light of the incident in a statement released exclusively to Yahoo! Music: "The show must go on," he said about his reaction to the mishap. "I work hard and let it all hang out. ... Lol." His ripped, baggy pants gave a new meaning to the phrase "hang loose."

  • Bill Clinton and Lady Gaga (Barbara Kinney/Clinton Foundation)Bill Clinton and Lady Gaga (Barbara Kinney/Clinton Foundation)The Decade of Difference concert at the Hollywood Bowl celebrated Bill Clinton's 65th birthday and the 10-year milestone of the Clinton Foundation. Throughout the night, unexpected moments surprised, shocked, and in the end, delighted the crowd.

    Lady Gaga befriends First Family

The moment that had everyone buzzing on Twitter was a backstage conversation between Lady Gaga and the Clintons. Lady Gaga switched outfits to a retro-looking gold gown with elbow-length gloves and even a faux beauty mark (solidifying the Marilyn Monroe comparison). She showed up in another backstage pose before the concert with former President Bill Clinton, and also Chelsea Clinton.

  • Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter (Photo by Stephanie Cabral/Yahoo!)Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter (Photo by Stephanie Cabral/Yahoo!)Former President Bill Clinton's Decade of Difference concert on Saturday night burned brightly with a parade of stars both onstage (Lady Gaga, Bono, Usher) and off (Barbra Streisand, Bonnie Raitt, Jane Fonda).

Even so, there were still a few fresh faces and unexpected moments in the Hollywood Bowl that left us with these burning questions.

Who was the striking blonde accompanying Kenny Chesney?

Considering he has 20 number one county chart hits and is Renee Zellweger's ex-husband, Kenny Chesney has soaked in his fair share of the limelight. But the stunning blonde who made the red carpet stroll with him on Saturday night is a comparative unknown. Those striking facial features (and legs) belong to Grace Potter, lead singer of a roots rock band called Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Potter later joined Chesney onstage to sing "You and Tequila," and if she seemed extremely comfortable during the duet, that's because she recorded the studio version with him on his last album.

  • It was Bill Clinton's birthday celebration, but Lady Gaga had a special message for his wife, Hillary, at Saturday night's concert honoring the former president. "Sit back down where you belong in the Oval Office with those high heels on," crooned the pop superstar to the Secretary of State in the opening of her song "You and I," which she rearranged as "Hillary, You and I."

That wasn't the only lyrical liberty Gaga took during the star-studded event, "A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation," streamed live on Yahoo.com.

"I bet when you first met you'd do anything again to go out in Arkansas," she ad-libbed for "Billary" (as she dubbed them), who celebrated their 40th anniversary this year.

The concert was a tribute to the former president, who just celebrated his 65th birthday, and a chance to raise awareness about the Clinton Foundation's humanitarian efforts around the globe.

  • The Edge and Bono brought the house down at the "Decade of Difference" concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 15 with a set that was fittingly moving and righteous. Much like Bill Clinton himself, Bono has always blended celebrity with activism, and that came through in the band's dramatic set.

Bono and crew opened with "Desire" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," but then moved into a haunting acoustic version of "Sunday Bloody Sunday," which, as every U2 fan knows, is about civil rights struggles in Northern Ireland.

The theme of fighting for change continued when Clinton himself introduced U2 for "Miss Sarajevo." Bono has called it his favorite U2 song, and it fit perfectly in the moment, as Clinton was president when Sarajevo was under siege in the early '90s.

    The Edge and Bono's set:

    "Desire" (starts at 0:36)

"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" (starts at 4:29)

"A Man and a Woman" (starts at 9:52)

  • Lady Gaga stole the show at the "Decade of Difference" concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 15 with her tribute to Bill Clinton and his family. She rocked the crowd with her 2011 hit "Born This Way," which, appropriately for the evening, is a tribute to freedom and self-empowerment. But Gaga made it personal by working in a few "Happy Birthday" wishes to the former president.

[ Photos: Lady Gaga at the Clinton concert ]

As always, Gaga's performance was highlighted by her attire, as she wore a blonde wig to channel Marilyn Monroe, who once sang a cheeky and sensual version of "Happy Birthday" to President John F. Kennedy. But as always with Lady Gaga, there were more jaw-dropping moments to come.

    Lady Gaga's set:

"Born This Way" (starts at 2:30)

"The Edge of Glory" (starts at 10:04)

    "Bad Romance" (starts at 16:13)

"You and I" (starts at 23:31)

  • The wildly popular Usher took the stage at the "Decade of Difference" concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 15 and did not disappoint. He wowed the crowd with his huge hit "Yeah!," a sexy tribute to the single life but also a song for all get-togethers, from weddings to birthday parties.

[ Photos: Usher at the Clinton concert ]

Usher flipped the script with a surprising cover of "With a Little Help From My Friends," the song by The Beatles that was famously covered by Joe Cocker and used as the theme song for the hit TV show "The Wonder Years."

The biggest surprise -- and cover -- of his performance came when he had a wardrobe malfunction, dancing himself into ripped pants. Like a true pro, Usher laughed it off and he finished the set.

    Usher's set:

"With a Little Help From My Friends" (starts at 0:38)

    "Yeah!" (starts at 5:44)

    "OMG" (starts at 8:40)
