We already told you about Barbara Bush's feelings about Sarah Palin's potential 2012 bid. But who is the Bush family supporting for the GOP nomination? While the Bushes didn't offer any explicit endorsement, the former first lady and her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, told CNN's Larry King in an interview Monday night that they like Mitt Romney.

"We like Mitt Romney. We know him well and like him very much," the former president told King.

Asked if it was because Romney's political beliefs were close to his own moderate stances, Bush joked that he didn't want to sink the former governor's potential candidacy. "Don't want to kill him off," Bush said. "[But] he's a reasonable guy. A conservative fellow, which is good. But no, I think he'd be a good president, a very good president."

Barbara Bush agreed with her husband. "I like a lot of them, but I like people who feel that you can respect other people's ideas," the former first lady said. "I like that a lot."

That's not to say that the Bushes have bad things to say about President Obama.

"He's been very pleasant to me personally, very," the former president said. "On a personal basis, I'm very strongly impressed. And he's a decent, decent man. And he's taken a lot of heat lately. But that goes with the territory."

During the interview, Barbara Bush also praised her husband's former political opponent, former President Bill Clinton. "You can't dislike Bill Clinton," she declared.
