Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice may be energizing crowds at exclusive retreats for Mitt Romney and raising money for conservative super PACs, but despite dipping her toes into politics, she has no plans to become anyone's vice president.

Rice ruled out the possibility in an interview on "CBS This Morning" Tuesday, saying there is "no way" she would be on the ticket this fall.

"There is no way that I will do this, because it's really not me. I know my strengths, and Gov. Romney needs to find someone who wants to run with him," Rice said when asked if she would consider becoming Romney's running mate.

"I didn't run for student council president," she said. "I don't see myself in any way in elective office."
