Did Joe Biden fall asleep during the president’s speech?

President Obama tackled major issues in his national address Wednesday, including the national debt, the deficit, taxes and the country's future fiscal health. But were those weighty matters stimulating enough to keep Joe Biden awake?

ABC's Z. Byron Wolf today reports that the Vice President appeared to nod off during the president's speech at George Washington University.

Video footage shows Biden sitting in the audience with his eyes shut tight as his head slowly dips towards his chest.

But was Biden caught in deep reflection or deep sleep?

Though it might look bad for the president if his second-in-command couldn't keep his eyes open today, some advisers would perhaps revel in Biden's moment of silence.

As you may recall, Biden was caught on tape just before the president's national health care signing ceremony last year telling the president: "This is a big f----ing deal."

A year earlier, he was seen on live camera at an event at Union Station saying: "I'm an hour late. Oh give me a f---ing break."

Whether or not Biden actually nodded off today, the incident has already been dubbed by some: "Big F---ing Bore."
