As he openly considers a 2012 White House run, Mike Huckabee scored a meeting Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem—though, strangely, he wasn't alone.

Actor Jon Voight, who is touring Israel this week with the former Arkansas governor, was also in the meeting.

The sit-down comes just days after Mitt Romney, Huckabee's potential 2012 rival, met with Netanyahu while on a similar trip. Both men have been working to build up their foreign policy credentials ahead of next year's election.

Per the Jerusalem Post, Huckabee weighed in on the disputed West Bank, saying Israelis should be able to settle wherever they want.

"I cannot imagine as an American being told that I could not live in certain places in America because I was Christian, or because I was white, or because I spoke English," Huckabee said. "I would be outraged if someone told me that in my country, I would be prohibited and forbidden to live in a part of that country, for any reason."
