While he's repeatedly insisted he's not interested in a White House run, Chris Christie is still frequently mentioned as a potential dark horse candidate in the upcoming 2012 GOP primary.

But a new Rutgers-Eagleton poll finds at least one key voting bloc that doesn't want Christie to run: New Jersey voters. According to the survey, just 22 percent of registered voters in the state want Christie to run for president, while 65 percent say the GOP governor should stay out of the race.

Strangely, the poll also finds the voting public mixed on whether Christie's increased national profile is helping the state. Just 36 percent of those polled say having a governor on the national stage helps the state, 42 percent says it makes no difference, while 21 percent say it hurts the New Jersey's image.
