Obama to press ‘fiscal cliff’ case to select local TV stations

President Barack Obama is scheduled to publicize his "fiscal cliff" fight in the local arena Thursday by conducting select interviews with several local TV stations.

The president on Thursday afternoon is scheduled to speak to WPVI in Philadelphia, Pa.; WLTV Univision 23 in Miami, Fla.; WCCO in Minneapolis, Minn.; and KCRA in Sacramento, Calif.

"The White House is smart, they want to reach a lot of people," WCCO's Frank Vascellaro said when discussing the upcoming interview.
