    Weekend in politics: Obama in Florida, Romney in New Hampshire, and more

    President Barack Obama wraps up two days of campaigning Friday in Florida, a key state in the 2012 election that he won in 2008. His message to retirees: They would be hurt by Mitt Romney's opposition to the health care reform law and by Republican plans to turn Medicare into what Obama says would be a "voucher program."

    Romney caps of a week of aggressive attacks on Obama with a campaign stop Friday in New Hampshire, also a 2012 battleground state. His message: Obama has failed at getting the economy back on track and creating jobs because he doesn't understand business and "what makes this country great."

    Also worth noting on Friday: Vice President Joe Biden attends a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee event in Houston; first lady Michelle Obama campaigns in Virginia; Biden's son Beau campaigns for Obama in Iowa; and Ann Romney attends a "Victory Center" opening in Michigan.

    The weekend calendar is light on scheduled political events. On Saturday, Mike Huckabee will headline the Tennessee GOP Statesmen's Dinner, and actress Gabrielle Union will host a "We've Got His Back" block party for Obama in Iowa. On Sunday, Romney, having spent the weekend with family in New Hampshire, will head to California for fundraisers.

    And then there is: Janet Reno, the first female U.S. Attorney General, turns 74 on Saturday.
