    Paul Ryan heads west to fundraise for Mitt Romney

    DENVER-- Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will spend Monday evening raising money for Mitt Romney's campaign here after attending his first solo rally as Romney's running mate in Des Moines, Iowa.

    Tickets to the Colorado fundraisers, held at two private residences, cost $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000, a campaign aide told reporters. The aide would not disclose the names of those hosting the events.

    Ryan will then travel to Las Vegas on Tuesday for a public rally at a local high school.
