PHOTO: Charlie Rangel, from censure to honors

It seems like yesterday that Charlie Rangel, the Democratic representative from New York, was political kryptonite. But less than a year after making national news for ethics scandals and being censured by three-fourths of his colleagues, Rangel was the star of the show Thursday as his official House portrait-- estimated to cost $64,500-- was unveiled in the room of the Ways and Means Committee, which he once chaired, in front of family, colleagues and friends.

House Speaker John Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi were among those in attendance. "Anyone who wants to ask about the Ethics Committee, I'm not answering any questions," Rangel said, drawing laughs from the audience.
