Pro-Romney super PAC to spend $17.7 million on October ad buy

DELRAY BEACH, Fla.—Restore Our Future, a super PAC supporting Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, announced a new $17.7 million television ad buy Tuesday that will pay for commercials to run in 10 battleground state markets.

The money will pay for two very different ads to air over the next seven days. The first features a military veteran who offers his personal endorsement of Romney, while the second attacks President Barack Obama over his handling of the economy.

Of the $17.7 million being spent on the media campaign, the group is pouring the most money into the key states of Florida, Ohio and Virginia. The ads will also run in Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
