Romney to campaign with celebrities in Ohio

NEW YORK—Mitt Romney is bringing out some well-known names to join him for his bus tour through Ohio Wednesday.

According to his campaign, Romney will hold a rally Wednesday morning in Westerville, Ohio, with golf legend Jack Nicklaus, who is from the area. He'll follow that event in a "manufacturing round table" with Mike Rowe, host of the Discovery Channel show "Dirty Jobs."

It's unclear if Rowe is backing Romney in the race, but the appearance comes just weeks after the television host sent Romney an open letter encouraging him to talk more about skilled labor jobs as part of an effort to change the country's attitude toward "hard work."

"If you read the whole thing, I'll vote for you in November," Rowe wrote.

Romney arrives in Ohio Tuesday afternoon, where he's scheduled to hold a campaign rally in Dayton with his running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan.

If you watched the London Olympics last summer, you saw a parade of top athletes touting the nutritional qualities of their favorite eatery: Subway. Watching Apolo Ohno or Robert Griffin III bite into a veggie footlong with avocado or hearing that Subway is “the official training restaurant of athletes everywhere,” you might get the idea that the food served at the chain isn’t that bad for you—that it’s even healthy.
