Is this the most effective political web ad of all time? It could be.
The Democratic National Committee has launched a website mocking the Republican presidential nominee's seeming inability to provide details about his tax plan.
The site—Romneytaxplan.com—includes a set of directions on its homepage:
For a detailed explanation of how the Romney-Ryan tax plan is able to cut taxes by $5 trillion without raising taxes on the middle class or exploding the deficit, simply click the button below.
The button—labeled "Get The Details"—becomes a moving target for frustrated users who attempt to click it.
The site also features a fake Romney campaign logo (slogan: "Believe in Half of America") and a link to a page on the Obama campaign's website which claims the GOP hopeful's tax plan "adds up to a middle-class tax hike."
