    Romney traveling with aide in charge of VP search

    In a move that is sure to set off more veepstakes rumors, the presumptive Republican nominee is traveling in Colorado today with Beth Myers, the senior aide in charge of helping Romney find a running mate.

    Romney is scheduled to appear Thursday at a rally outside Aspen, Colo., with at least four Republicans who have been mentioned as possible running mates: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez and Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell.

    All are in town for a retreat sponsored by the Republican Governors Association.

    Romney advisor Kevin Madden first noted Myers' presence on the trip, and he posted a message on Twitter that said he, Romney and Myers were talking about the Mitt VP application earlier this week that will alert users of whom the GOP candidate has selected as his No. 2.
