The TicketRudy Giuliani officially rules out 2012 bid
After months of flirting with a 2012 run, Rudy Giuliani announced Tuesday he will not enter the Republican presidential race.
"If it's too late for Chris Christie, it's too late for me," the former New York City mayor told the Long Island Association, per Politico's Maggie Haberman.
His decision comes just a few days after reports that one of his top political advisers had been urging New Hampshire Republicans to hold off on endorsing in the primary until Giuliani had made his final decision about the race.
Asked about those reports, Giuliani joked that those messages must have gotten lost.
