Tuesday in politics: Obama and Romney in Ohio, and more

It's the battle for the Buckeye State.

President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both will campaign Tuesday in Ohio. Obama will come with will.i.am; Romney with N.J. Gov. Chris Christie. And Romney, energized by last week's debate and a bump in the polls, plans to stay in Ohio on Wednesday, and keep the hard-charging, blunt-talking Christie with him.

At stake: 18 electoral votes. No Republican has ever won the White House without winning Ohio.

Romney will make an early afternoon stop in Iowa before heading to Ohio.

Vice President Joe Biden has no public events on his schedule, and remains at home in Wilmington, Del., where he is believed to be prepping for Thursday night's debate with Paul Ryan.

Also worth noting on Tuesday: Former President Bill Clinton campaigns in Las Vegas for Obama; first lady Michelle Obama stumps in Virginia; second lady Jill Biden campaigns for the Obama-Biden ticket in Pennsylvania; Jeb Bush will campaign for Romney in Florida; and Craig Romney will be in Nevada campaigning for his father.

And then there is this: Ann Romney appears as a guest host Wednesday morning on ABC's "Good Morning America."
