‘Check It Out’: Library staff releases perfect parody of ‘Shake It Off’

In case you missed the memo, it’s National Library Week. And what better way to celebrate all things Dewey Decimal System than with a Taylor Swift parody video!

The staff from the Topeka & Shawnee County Library in Kansas changed up the lyrics to “Shake It Off” to remind us of all that libraries have to offer.

The spoof video, aptly named “Check It Out,” highlights the perks of library membership, like all the cash we could save using libraries for books, music and movies.

If you watch closely, you can spot more than a few Taylor Swift “cameos” the library worked into its video.
