‘Star Wars’ as a Wes Anderson Film

Director Jonah Feingold has produced a witty remix of the recently released trailer for “Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens” in the styling of the quirky indie cinema director Wes Anderson.

The colors, quick edits, snarky captions, and French music all evoke Anderson’s unique approach to films and add a bit of wit to a trailer whose original version took itself pretty seriously.

Fans are loving it! Thomas Sanjurjo commented, "I must confess, this makes me sad that this is not an actual thing." And Kloiber Andreas wrote, "C'est Magnifique!!"

Parodying the much-anticipated trailer for the new film has become somewhat of a cult hobby in and of itself. Already, we have seen a Mel Brooks version, a Lego version, and a Disney version of the trailer.

Hopefully, director J.J. Abrams and his team will cut and release another trailer for the upcoming film soon so that these filmmakers have some more material to work with.
