Want to know the secret to living until 110? Well, according to supercentenarian Agnes Fenton, the key is God, whiskey and beer … Miller High Life to be precise.
Fenton’s daily beer routine started 70 years ago after a health scare involving a benign tumor. When her doctor discharged her, she said he left her with this important piece of advice: “Agnes, you must drink three Miller High Lifes a day.”
Fenton has followed his suggestion to the letter for decades — she even added a glass of whiskey to the mix.
According to the Record, her caregivers have recently taken alcohol out of her daily routine because she eats less now.
The Englewood, N.J., resident turned 110 on Saturday surrounded by more than 40 children she took care of during her years as a nanny.
“When I was 100 years old, I went to the mirror to thank God that I was still here. And I thank him every morning,” she told the Record. “He gave me a long life and a good life, and I have nothing to complain about.”

Welcome to Hogwarts. It’s been waiting for you!
Thanks to YouTuber Kate Parkin, this magical “Harry Potter”-themed Taylor Swift mashup now exists.
Parkin, also known as weasleysweaters on YouTube, took several songs off Swift’s “1989” album and changed the lyrics to reflect “Potter” story lines and themes.
The songs are all sung by Parkin and from the perspectives of different characters in the Potterverse — complete with costumes.
Props to Kate Parkin, combining both “Harry Potter” and Taylor Swift is truly Internet gold.

As we told you yesterday, this friendly Canadian hitchhiking robot met its demise in Philadelphia just two weeks into a journey across the United States.
Now vlogger Jesse Wellens has released what he says is security camera footage of hitchBOT’s grisly demise.
Wellens, a Philly-based YouTube star, was one of the last two people to see the robot intact.
He and a friend picked up the bot in the early morning hours of Aug. 1, and dropped it off for the next travelers to pick up.
Wellens tweeted out to his nearly 900,000 followers, “Dropping off the Robot at Elfreths Ally. Waiting for one of you peeps to pick it up.”
Sadly, his peeps did not show. Instead, hitchBOT was met by an unknown man wiearing a sports jersey and a backwards baseball hat.
Who this man is remains a mystery, but every robot

Only 300 miles into its journey from sea to shining sea, hitchBOT was found decapitated in Philadelphia.
HitchBOT was created by a team of communications researchers from Ontario and was designed to be a talking travel companion. The bot was immobile on its own and relied on strangers to pick it up and pass it along to other travelers or leave it in a place others may notice.
“We want to see what people do with this kind of technology when we leave it up to them,” Frauke Zeller, one of the creators, told the AP. “It’s an art project in the wild — it invites people to participate.”
Last year the bot successfully hitchhiked across Canada in 26 days.
Unfortunately things did not work out so well this time around. HitchBOT was found beaten to a pulp on Saturday outside the City of Brotherly Love, just two weeks into its cross-country journey from
Australian stunt rider Robbie Maddison seems to have done the impossible by surfing a giant wave … on a dirt bike!Read More »from Daredevil “surfs” monster wave on his dirt bike
A video produced by DC Shoes titled “Pipe Dream” features Maddison catching some serious waves in Tahiti on his bike. The bike was specially modified for the trick, complete with skis, allowing him to ride on top of the water.
And don’t think this death-defying stunt was successfully executed on the first take: It took two years to pull off! Maddison has also called it “probably the scariest thing that I have ever experienced.”
Maddison nearly drowned while filming the stunt, he told Rolling Stone:
“There I was on a motorcycle, with the worst thing that could possibly happen. I turned out from the wave, and it crashed down behind me, chasing me down. I was picked up and thrown, and my bike landed on my back, knocking all the air out of me. It was the most violent ride I’ve ever been on, tumbling beneath the surface in full gear. Over the next four or five minutes, I only
