Being the sibling of an A-list Hollywood movie star certainly has its perks. Just ask Brad Pitt's younger brother, Doug. As the star of a new Virgin Mobile Australia commercial, Doug is getting the celebrity treatment normally reserved for his brother. Using the tagline 'The second-most-famous Pitt in his family', the ad features Doug's average daily life as he listens to music in his "man room," builds a birdhouse, shoots hoops in his neighborhood, and does various other mundane activities, like attempting to mow the lawn.

The ad says "Virgin Mobile believe in a fair go for all"; the company is giving Doug a taste of his famous brother's lifestyle through his first-ever celebrity endorsement. The video suggests that viewers "show Doug some 'like'" and visit his ad page as well as his Facebook fan page to get to know the second most famous Pitt.

Doug's newfound fame is earning him fans, too, some of whom have left comments like "This Pitt seems a lot more fun to hang out with" and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith 2: Unfinished Birdhouse." But don't be so quick to think that Doug is only just a look-alike sibling of one of the most famous people in the world. He is a married father of three, an entrepreneur, and a philanthropist. His organization, Care to Learn, provides health, hygiene, and hunger services for children living in poverty, and he's a goodwill ambassador to Tanzania.

A contest to have Miami rapper Pitbull visit Walmart has taken an unexpected turn. The My Local Walmart contest, sponsored by Sheets Energy Strips, will send Pitbull to the Walmart location that receives the most 'likes' on its Facebook page.

David Thorpe and John Hendron from the blog Something Awful thought it would be hilarious if the most remote Walmart won the grand prize. Where is that store? Kodiak, Alaska, a town with a population of just over 6,000. Thorpe started the Twitter hashtag #ExilePitbull, and the prank has really taken off.

Right now, the Kodiak Walmart Facebook page has more than 35,000 likes. But there could be a hitch in successfully campaigning for this location. Even if Kodiak wins, it does not necessarily mean Pitbull will actually go to Alaska. The fine print in the contest rules reads "event scheduling is subject to artist's availability. Walmart reserves the right to amend, modify or terminate this promotion in its sole discretion."

But there's still hope for little Kodiak. Pitbull himself does not seem to have a problem with the remote location. The artist tweeted "I hear there's bear repellent at Kodiak Alaska" and used the #ExilePitbull hashtag. Someone's a good sport!
