Man Proposes to Girlfriend with 300-Person Flash Mob

For those of you who are thinking of proposing, here's a little inspiration. Joey Lancianese of Philadelphia orchestrated a flash mob of about 300 friends, family, and strangers to surprise his girlfriend, Alex DeLoia, with an over-the-top gesture. He arranged for the entire street to be shut down! Joey told Alex that they were meeting another couple for dinner, but just before they made it into the restaurant, one guy suddenly started dancing on the sidewalk. Soon, Joey joined in followed by hundreds of others. When the Bruno Mars song "Marry You" came on, the magical moment began. "No idea is too big for us. We can do anything together," Lancianese said to Alex. "You are my best friend in the whole world. Being with you has seriously been the happiest time of my entire life." Then he dropped to one knee.

Lancianese spent two months planning the proposal, which included rehearsals and sending around a video of the dance moves to out-of-towners so they could practice. A thrilled Alex accepted the proposal, in case you were wondering. She gushed, "It was amazing. It's been a long time coming, and it was so worth the wait."
