Marching band helps with romantic proposal

We hope you’re not completely sick of seeing marriage proposals on the Internet, and also we hope you have it in you to see just one more group of people perform Pharrell’s hit “Happy.” Today’s viral video has a little bit of both. We dare you to find a wedding proposal filled with more bits of Americana wholesomeness than this one. Last weekend Mark Keller decided to pop the big question to his girlfriend, Tammy Snapp, at the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival parade in Winchester, Va. He even enlisted the help of the marching band from James Wood High School.

Keller posted the video of the whole romantic scene to his YouTube page, where we are sure to see the view count skyrocket over the next few days. In it, you can see the band coming down the street with Keller in the foreground waiting for them to stop in front of him and Snapp. Then, he turns to his beloved and says, “Tammy Sue Snapp, would you do me the great honor of being my wife?” After she says yes, through tears, Mark turns to the crowd and exclaims, “She said yes!” And with that cue, the band starts to play “Happy.”

Way to go, Mark Keller! We think these two already found the perfect wedding band to play on their big day!
