Prepare to feel lazy: This man runs on a treadmill while drumming Metallica song

So, you made a New Year’s resolution to get in shape, and you have already given up on it? This is an all-too-familiar story. We found a video that might just give you the motivational boost you need. Check out 23-year-old Brendan from Australia. He not only runs on the treadmill, but also he simultaneously drums to the beat of Metallica’s classic “Enter Sandman” without missing a beat.

Brendan describes himself as an obsessed marathon runner and out-of-work drummer. He says he’s not particularly good at either but that combining the two makes for a good laugh. Since 2013, he has uploaded six videos of himself treadmill drumming to some of his favorite tunes, including “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence and “Break Me Shake Me” by Savage Garden. He recently sold his treadmill, but since his YouTube channel has seen a boost in treadmill-drumming interest lately, Brendan says he may pick up another treadmill so that he can continue to give his fans what they want.
