9/11 coverage: Where to watch the 10th-anniversary events

On the 10th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, viewers will have an option to revisit memories of the unfolding events on the major networks that carried the news a decade ago.

Reports throughout the day will include the national memorial ceremonies at the World Trade Center, in New York; the Pentagon, in Washington, D.C.; and at the Flight 93 National Memorial, in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Here's a rundown of live network coverage for the day.

ABC
Diane Sawyer will team with George Stephanopoulos for a special three-hour broadcast of "Good Morning America," beginning at 8 a.m. ET. Robin Roberts will be at the World Trade Center site, along with David Muir and Christiane Amanpour. Katie Couric will also be on hand. Chief White House correspondent Jake Tapper will be with President Obama at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, for the ceremonies at each of the sites throughout the day. "20/20" will air a one-hour special, "Remembrance and Renewal: 10 Years After the 9/11 Attacks," at 10 p.m. ET.

CBS
Scott Pelley will be at the World Trade Center site for the national memorial ceremonies. "Face the Nation" will also air from the site immediately following the scheduled events. And "60 Minutes" will be entirely dedicated to 9/11 coverage, starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

NBC
From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET (5 a.m. to 8 a.m. PT), NBC News will air "America Remembers," a special broadcast that will cover the official memorial ceremonies at the World Trade Center site, in New York; the Pentagon, in Washington, D.C.; and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Brian Williams will anchor from the World Trade Center, David Gregory will report from the Pentagon, and Lester Holt will be in New York. Tom Brokaw, who anchored the network's coverage as the attacks unfolded 10 years ago, will also join the special broadcast.

CNN
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET, Anderson Cooper and Candy Crowley will host coverage from the World Trade Center, along with CNN International anchor Becky Anderson, chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and anchor and special correspondent Soledad O'Brien. Wolf Blitzer will anchor from the Pentagon, joined by Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr. John King will anchor from Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Fox
The weekday anchor team will present "9/11 Remembered," which will include live coverage of the ceremonies and memorial events. Additional reporting will be provided by New York correspondents Eric Shawn, David Lee Miller, and Rick Leventhal, as well as senior White House correspondent Ed Henry, national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin, and national correspondent Catherine Herridge.

NPR
Starting at 8 a.m. ET, the public radio station will offer nine hours of live coverage hosted by Weekend Edition host Audie Cornish and Talk of the Nation host Neal Conan. They will be joined by Robert Siegel at the World Trade Center; Tom Gjelten, who was at the Pentagon when the plane hit 10 years ago; and John Ydstie in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
