BP cops to altering another image

A BP photographer trained his now-infamous editing skills on yet another image on the website, the company admitted today.

BP admitted earlier this week that a photograph of the Houston-based Deepwater Horizon response command center was significantly altered, and took down the image from its website. They now say the same photographer also used copy-and-paste to gussy up the photo above (into the photo below), and have removed it as well.

"Although BP is a private company, we've instructed the photographer who created the images to refrain from cutting-and-pasting in the future and to adhere to standard photo journalistic best practices," read a statement on BP's Facebook page.

This is the photo before it was digitally altered:

BP also said the image below looks like it was cut-and-pasted, but that the photographer only used a saturation tool while editing to make the image clearer.
