Bloodline: Watch the Mysterious New Trailer for Kyle Chandler's Upcoming Netflix Drama (VIDEO)

Clear eyes, full hearts: Friday Night Lights vet Kyle Chandler is (almost) back on TV, y'all.

Netflix has released a new trailer for its upcoming psychological drama Bloodline, and if you're expecting something similar to the inspiring, heartwarming story of a small-town Texas football team, you're going to have to look elsewhere. Set in the idyllic Florida Keys, the series comes from the creators of Damages, and while it may look beautiful on the outside, beneath all the bright sunshine and clear water lies a dirty, shameful secret.

"We're not bad people, but we did a bad thing," Chandler's familiar voice explains in the trailer. And while we'll have to wait until Bloodline debuts to find out what that bad thing is, there's no harm in speculating now! See for yourself:

If that's not enough to get you intrigued, keep in mind that Bloodline might actually have the best cast of any show currently on television. Sam Shepard (The Right Stuff) and Sissy Spacek (Carrie) play Robert and Sally Rayburn, pillars of the local community who run a successful inn on the coastline. Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises) is their eldest son Danny, who left home years ago and is considered the black sheep of the family for reasons unknown (their other three kids all live nearby). When Danny returns home for the 45th anniversary celebration of his parents' inn, old wounds are reopened and the family's dark secrets and shameful past are revealed, which pushes Danny's siblings to the limits of family loyalty.

Speaking of those siblings, Chandler stars as golden boy John, a respectable local detective; Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks, Mad Men) plays only daughter Meg, a lawyer; and Norbert Leo Butz (Dan in Real Life, lots of theater) plays youngest son Kevin, who runs a boat yard and repair shop and fully believes in having a good time and living life to its fullest.

Jacinda Barrett (Suits), Katie Finneran (Wonderfalls), Chloe Sevigny (Big Love), and Jamie McShane (Sons of Anarchy) round out the cast.

All 13 episodes of Bloodline's first season premiere Friday, March 20 at 3am Eastern / 12am Pacific on Netflix.
