Body found floating in Central Park pond

Police pulled a man’s body from a pond in Central Park on Monday, cops said.

The man was spotted floating face down in Turtle Pond, near Belvedere Castle and just north of the 79th St. Transverse, around 4:25 p.m., according to police.

The body of the unidentified man was fully clothed when he was removed from the pond. There were no obvious signs of trauma.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The city’s Medical Examiner was expected to determine his cause of death.
