Body found inside vehicle pulled from Center Hill Lake in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Several agencies have joined a death investigation after a body and vehicle were pulled from Center Hill Lake over the weekend.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), crews were sent to the boat ramp at the end of Center Hill Lake at approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 after a 911 call reported a body and vehicle were in the water.

The TBI said the woman, whose body was recovered, has been identified as 61-year-old Terri Lynn Patterson. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine a cause of death, officials said.

TBI agents, investigators with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Tennessee State Parks and the Army Corps of Engineers have all joined the death investigation.

An investigation into the incident remains ongoing. No other information was released.
