    Boeing gets $4.6 billion in credit agreements

    NEW YORK (AP) — Boeing Co. said Monday that it entered into separate $2.3 billion revolving credit agreements — 1-year and 5-year deals — to replace older agreements.

    A 364-day agreement replaced a similar deal dated Nov. 12, 2010, and a 5-year agreement replaced a $2 billion credit arrangement from November 2007, the company said.

    Citigroup and JPMorgan were lead arrangers on both deals.

    Boeing will pay a yearly fee of 0.05 percent on the shorter deal's commitments and between 0.06 percent and 0.15 percent per year on the longer arrangement, depending on the aircraft maker's credit.

    On Sunday, Boeing landed what it termed its biggest order ever by value, as Dubai-based airline Emirates ordered 50 Boeing 777 jets, a deal worth $18 billion at list prices. On Monday, Oman Air ordered six of Boeing's new 787-8 aircraft to replace orders previously placed by a leasing company. The plane has a list price of $193.5 million, although discounts are common.

    Boeing shares rose $1.02, or 1.5 percent, to close Monday at $67.94. They have ranged from $56.01 to $80.65 in the past year.
