MOSCOW (AP) — Usain Bolt won his third gold medal of the world championships, anchoring Jamaica to victory in the 4x100-meter relay on Sunday.
The Jamaican team of Bolt, Nesta Carter, Kemar Bailey-Cole and Nickel Ashmeade won in 37.36 seconds.
The United States finished second in 37.66 for silver.
Britain, which had been third, was disqualified for a bad change, moving Canada up to bronze in 37.92.
Bolt had already won the 100 and 200 meters. It was his second sprint triple at the world championships, matching the two he has won at the Olympics.
With his victory, Bolt moved to the top of the career world championships medals table with eight gold and two silver, edging Carl Lewis, who has eight gold, one silver and one bronze.
