About the Author

John David Sparks began his metaphysical studies in 1972. He works as a teacher, healer and writer, traveling nationally and internationally to share his expanded vision of Reiki as a life path. In 1990 he became a massage therapist, and in 1991 took his first Reiki class. In 1994 he opened Insight Awareness, a holistic healing center near Chicago, where he continues to teach.
