    Brad Pitt 'Getting A Lot Of Pressure From The Kids' To Marry Angelina Jolie: 'It Means A Lot To Them'

    As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's six children grow older, it's becoming harder and harder to explain to the brood why the longtime couple hasn't yet tied the knot.

    "We're getting a lot of pressure from the kids. It means something to them," Brad, 48, told Lee Cowan during an interview on Sunday's "CBS Morning News." "They have questions when their friends' parents are married and [they want to know] why is that?"

    "What do you tell them?" Lee asked.

    "'We will. We will someday. That's a great idea,'" Brad recounted of their response to their youngsters. "[They say], 'Get Mommy a ring!' [I say],'OK, I will, I will!'"

    While the stunning duo seem to have mastered the art of globetrotting parenting, Brad admitted there are times when he and Angelina resort to caffeinating their kids to get them up and out the door on time.

    "Listen, I admit there's times where it's just like, 'We gotta get up. Get up! Here's your shoes, here's your shoes. Drink this coke. Drink this Coca-Cola. Drink it all right now - drink it!' Just so we can get them up and get going," he said, laughing.

    And the kids aren't the only ones who may need an extra boost these days - Brad and Angie are smack dab in the middle of the hectic awards season, with Angelina nabbing various nominations for her feature film directorial debut, "In the Land of Blood and Honey," while Brad is being recognized for his work in "Moneyball" and "The Tree of Life."

    While the actor says the award ceremonies are "fun," he wishes the season could be knocked out in one fell swoop.

    "I would prefer if we could do it on one weekend, instead of three months or two months, whatever it is," he said. "I think it should be like the 24-hour Le Mans. Like, we just run 'em all back-to-back, go into the broadcasts, Golden Globes, SAG, and 24 hours later at the end, have the Oscars, and last man standing takes it all!"

      I met a young boy in an after-school program. He was introducing himself to everyone: "Hi! I'm Ritchie, and I have the same last name as my Daddy!" Richie was very proud about this.

      Well, Rebecca, I'm gonna go there. I'm not a weirdo. I am a normal Mom who has my kids on a schedule. I don't have nannies watch my kids, my husband and I do. They eat at a normal time, and they go to bed at a certain time, and they get up at a certain time. It's not that hard to make sure that your kids get the proper rest that they need. My kids don't get caffeine, they get plenty of rest, like a responsible parent makes sure that their kids have. I would love to hear what the nannies say about how much time Jolie and Pitt spend with their kids. Pitt probably helped get the kids off to school for the first time in years just recently, and talks about it like he does it all the time. Movies take at least 4 months to make, and these two are always seen in public and award shows without any kids. How much time do you think they actually spend with their kids? I wish they would shut it about their family, they aren't raising their kids, nannies are.

        That's not true, they are always shown with their children except at awards shows. No one takes their kids to awards shows. Also, they both stated that they don't work on movie at the same time, so that one is always home with the kids. He gave the kids a soda, not crack. Unless you live in the home with them, you don't know who's raising their kids

        WOW Karen! You're going to compare crack and soda? That's quite a stretch, you make me chuckle! All I'm saying, is that small children should not be given caffeine to wake them up, plenty of rest will do that just fine. It's obviously healthier that way, but I guess they don't care which way is healthier. I see tons of pics of these two, and rarely do those pics have any of their kids in them. Me and my husband juggle only two kids, and they are left with a babysitter about once a year. We would NEVER be able to do that if we were as busy as these two are. And they have 4 more kids than us! Anyone with half a brain and kids knows that these two cannot possibly be the primary caregivers. Work is the first priority for these two, parenthood has to be a far, far, in a galaxy far far away, second priority. That's fine if that's the way they want to do it, but the dog and pony show they put on about what great parents they are makes me want to hurl. They shouldn't discuss their family life at all. It's all image with these two, no substance. They can't even donate to charity quietly, they announce it to the world. They use charity for good publicity. Well, I guess it works on you. How sad for them, and you. It's pitiful.
