Based on the award-winning documentary by Ryan McGarry, Code Black is described as a heart-pounding medical drama that takes place in the busiest, most notorious ER in the nation, where the staggering influx of patients can outweigh the limited resources available to the extraordinary doctors and nurses whose job is to treat them all. Seitzman and Mahoney executive produce alongside Marti Noxon, Linda Goldstein-Knowlton, Ryan McGarry and the pilot’s director, David Semel.

Mahoney most recently served as executive producer/co-showrunner on Kevin Williamson’s Fox drama The Following and also did a stint as co-executive producer on Williamson’s freshman CBS drama Stalker.

He previously worked on the final three seasons of the CBS Studios’ long-running CBS crime drama, CSI: Miami. Mahoney’s résumé also includes two Greg Berlanti-produced series: Eli Stone at ABC and Golden Boy at CBS. He is repped by WME and John Meigs.
