FREMANTLE, Australia (AP) — Britain skipper Lucy MacGregor won three of her four opening Group B races Sunday in women's match racing at the world sailing championships.
Olivia Price of Australia was the only boat to beat MacGregor, who has already qualified for next year's London Olympics due to England's host country status.
Two Dutch crews were drawn against each other Sunday, and both had three wins each going into the race. But Renee Groeneveld defeated Mandy Mulder by two boat lengths to stay unbeaten.
Anna Tunnicliffe of the United States and her crew won all three of their Group A preliminaries Saturday in the two-week-long competition that will decide qualifiers for all 10 Olympic sailing events at next year's London Games.
