Emergency crews responded to a building collapse in Brooklyn on Tuesday.

An FDNY spokesman said the department received a call reporting the collapse at 2:26 p.m. at 1438 Fulton St. It's unclear what caused the collapse, the spokesman said.

At least three people were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, though it's unclear if they were in or near the building when it collapsed. According to CBS New York, one of those injured was bicyclist who was struck by falling debris.

Photos and video posted to social media showed first responders arriving at the scene.

The building was recently occupied by Sahel Inc., a wholesale beauty supply store. Bashir Hamadou, who identified himself as the owner of the business, told Yahoo News that Sahel Inc. moved from that location three months ago and that no one lived in building.
