    BSI Enhances and Renames its Automated Employee Forms Solution

    BSI eFormsFactory™ now offers online W-2s for employees.

    Business Software, Inc. (BSI), a leading provider of comprehensive payroll tax calculation and compliance solutions, today announced that its automated employee forms processing solution, BSI eeForms™, has been enhanced to include employee online W-2s. In addition, the product name has been changed to BSI eFormsFactory to better align with BSI’s existing branding.

    BSI eFormsFactory, an on-demand (SaaS) solution, simplifies the cumbersome task of managing W-4 updates and producing W-2s. Employees are provided self-service access to their payroll tax forms through an online portal and employers are provided a console to manage and process these forms online.

    “We are always looking for ways to enhance our offerings for our customers. Without increasing the cost of the solution, we now provide the ability to automate W-2 management and reduce costs,” said Russell Rindik, BSI Vice President of Operations. “It’s like a one-stop shop for payroll tax forms processing.”

    The new W-2 module offers several time-saving features:


    • Employees can consent (opt-in) and withdraw consent (opt-out) conveniently online.

    • Data files are easily imported from your HR/Payroll system and W-2s are automatically generated.

    • Employers can preview W-2s prior to posting them to the web.

    • Employers and employees can view W-2 history.

    • Automated emails are sent to employees regarding status changes and W-2 availability.

    Changing the name of the solution to BSI eFormsFactory ensures consistent naming across BSI solutions: BSI TaxFactory™, BSI ComplianceFactory™ and BSI TaxFactory™ Canada.

    “We chose to reinforce the concept of a ‘factory’ because our customers benefit from a broad range of integrated applications in each solution suite, much like a factory would produce many parts that make up a whole product, often with customized versions for particular customers. With our SaaS option, our customers can select from the applications to create a customized solution to meet their unique business needs, and add more later as those needs change,” Rindik said.
