The Buccaneers announced Friday that they have signed veteran DT Gary Gibson to a two-year contract.
Gibson, a six-year veteran, has played in 49 career games with 22 starts, totaling 79 tackles and three sacks. This past season, Gibson played in all 16 games for the Rams, starting one, and finished with 25 tackles and three sacks.
Gibson originally entered the league in 2005 as an undrafted free agent with the Ravens. He then spent two seasons with the Panthers before playing with the Rams the past three seasons.
The Buccaneers also released DT John McCargo and waived WR Raymond Webber.
