    Buffalo Soldiers Tell Their Story at Bush Library and Museum

    The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum celebrates Black History Month with the Storytelling and Distance Learning Programs: “Forgotten Heroes - The Buffalo Soldiers” Feb. 28 at the George Bush Presidential Library Center at Texas A&M University.

    The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum celebrates Black History Month with the Storytelling and Distance Learning Programs: “Forgotten Heroes - The Buffalo Soldiers” Feb. 28 at the George Bush Presidential Library Center at Texas A&M University.

    This program depicts the rich history of the Buffalo Soldiers through authentic stories, artifacts and music. The "Texas Story" is an important historical record of the 9th Cavalry and 24th and 25th Infantry.

    The Bush Library and Museum Education Department and the Bush Library and Museum Storytellers Guild will host this historical storytelling program live and via distance learning.

    Two free programs are offered Feb. 28 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center’s Frymire Auditorium.
