Caitlyn Jenner Goes Head-To-Head With Taylor Swift And Katy Perry For Teen Choice Award
Caitlyn Jenner may have to get herself a bigger mantlepiece soon if she carries on scooping awards left, right and centre.

Following on from her ESPY Award last month, the reality TV star has been nominated for a Teen Choice Award and she’s rightly chuffed to pieces despite facing some stiff opposition in the category.
Cait is up for Social Media Queen alongside Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. No biggie then.
But Caitlyn is clearly all about the taking part. She tweeted: “And to think I wouldn’t have qualified for this nom a few months ago… What an honor! #TeenChoice #SocialMediaQueen”.
Caitlyn is a bit of a newbie to social media, having only joined on June 1 this year. But she has already racked up 21.7million Twitter followers, breaking a Twitter record by gaining one million followers in ONE hour.
(Although that’s chicken feed compared to social media vet, Taylor, who has a staggering 61.4million Twitter friends).
But this isn’t a popularity contests peeps (well, it sort of is, but shhh). And maybe Taylor’s little Twitter hiccup last week may have hurt her chances…
The Teen Choice Awards, which are always mega, take place on August 16 and we’ll be cheering on Caitlyn from our sofa.
