Captain America: Civil War Sides Revealed
‘Captain America: Civil War’ is going to see many of the heroes that we’ve come to love while devouring Marvel’s output over recent years fall out.
All that we’ve known is that Captain America and Iron Man are the duo that will be picking sides in next summer’s titanic tag-team. That was until now, because new promo art for the film has been released, and it shows us whose with who.
Jeremy Renner tweeted the above image, which proves that Captain America has recruited Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, and Falcon to tackle Iron Man’s own motley crew.

But who will be teaming up with Iron Man’s own posse? Well, he’ll have Agent 13, The Vision, War Machine and Black Panther, whose inclusion suggests he’s going to play a more integral part than first thought.
Now, those of you who are relatively good at math will quickly realise that Iron Man’s team are a man short, while there’s also the rather burning question of where Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will fit into the mix. Plus can Captain America really trust the Winter Soldier to stay faithful to his cause? What about Maria Hill, Scarlet Witch and Nick Fury too?
Those issues can be put to one side for the time being though, because after releasing the above image Jeremy Renner went one step further by unleashing a picture of both groups posing menacingly. Which, as you can imagine, is awesome.
Yep, now I’m getting stupidly excited for ‘Captain America: Civil War’. It’s just a pity that we have just over 8 months to wait until its May 6th, 2016, release date. The release of its Disney Expo trailer would quench this thirst immediately, so hopefully we’ll get our first glimpse of the blockbuster at some point in the next month or two.
Until then, I’m just going to remind myself that a picture says a thousand words, and look at the above until my eyes bleed.
