Cartier Odyssey teaser: Panthers, elephants and Shalom Harlow

Cartier has released a series of images from its eagerly anticipated “Cartier Odyssey" campaign ahead of its March 4 international release, with highlights including an elephant with a Taj Mahal strapped to its back and a life-size replica of a 1906 biplane.

The French jewelry brand has embarked on its biggest campaign project for over a decade to honor its 165th anniversary.

Although the full video won’t be unveiled until March 4, when it hits television screens across the US, France, China, Russia, the UK, Hong Kong and the Middle East, the just released images convey the grand scale of the project and its fantastical elements.

Canadian supermodel Shalom Harlow stars in the ad, and can be seen wearing a custom red bustier gown, although the star of the show is the iconic Cartier panther – the brand’s symbol since 1914.

Sneak peeks have also been hitting the label’s Facebook page and there is also a dedicated micro-site http://www.odyssee.cartier.fr/.
