CB Cox leaves Jaguars for Chargers

Free agent cornerback Derek Cox has agreed to a contract with the San Diego Chargers.

U-T San Diego reported that Cox, who played last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, will get a four-year, $20 million contract with $10.25 million of guaranteed money, including a $5.2 million signing bonus.

The William & Mary product has made 12 interceptions during the past four seasons.
